Dana Womack

​Director of Architectural Services

Dana 1s.jpgDana Womack serves as Director of Architectural Services at the School Building Authority of West Virginia. Since joining the SBA in 2013, he has overseen the design and construction of numerous K-12 schools throughout the state. Recent projects that he has worked on include the New Franklin Elementary in Pendleton County and Lincoln Middle School in Harrison County, both of which were the first projects in the history of the SBA to use the Design-Build delivery method.

Dana is a native of St. Albans and a graduate of St. Albans High School. He earned an Associate in Applied Science from Marshall University. Dana enlisted in the United States Air Force and served four years at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma as a Security Police officer. After his return home, Dana began his career in construction as a cement finisher and work his way up to Project Manager. In 2009, Dana took on the role of Construction Administrator for a private architectural firm in Charleston.

Dana is a very active member in his community serving as a coach in many youth sports programs. In 202​1, Dana was named Head Boys Basketball Coach at St. Albans High School.
