Steve Burton is from Wayne County and was appointed to the School Building Authority in 1990 by Governor Gaston Caperton. Mr. Burton serves on the Authority as the representative of the interests of the construction trades. Mr. Burton was reappointed to a term ending July 31, 2024.​
