Hire a Construction Manager

​When the SBA designates the use of a Construction Manager (CM) to a project(s), the county board of education must take action to hire a qualified CM as soon as possible, based on the CM requirements of the SBA. The CM will be involved in all phases of planning, development and construction as a representative of the county board of education and the SBA. The SBA Staff will work with counties to determine if the services of a qualified CM will be necessary and/or beneficial for a particular project. For budgeting purposes, it is important to work with the SBA Staff to establish whether a CM will be designated to your project.
