Eric Lewis.jpgEric Lewis is from Jefferson County and was appointed to the School Building Authority in August 2010 by Gov. Joe Manchin, III.

Mr. Lewis is a founding member of regional public accounting firm Ours, Lawyer, Lewis & Company, PLLC.   His firm has offices in Charles Town and Martinsburg and focuses on a wide range of accounting and tax issues on behalf of its clients.
 
Eric has worked in public accounting and hi-tech finance since 1995. Most recently, he was Executive Director of Walker Ventures, a $100 million early stage venture capital fund located near Baltimore, Maryland. Eric has served as Chief Financial Officer at two venture capital-backed high tech companies and has worked with large regional CPA firms in auditing, tax and business consulting. Eric also serves on the Board of Directors of Jefferson Security Bank, the Shepherd University Alumni Association and the Shepherd University Foundation and serves as President of the Jefferson County Development Authority. He has previously served as Chairman of the West Virginia Venture Connection, a nonprofit created by Senator John D. Rockefeller IV and on the Boards of the Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce and the Jefferson County Schools Education Foundation.
 
Eric graduated cum laude from Shepherd College with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and lives in Shepherdstown with his wife and two children.
