Don Bower

​Don Bower was appointed to the School Building Authority of West Virginia by Governor Jim Justice on October 3, 2022, with a term ending July 31, 2024. Mr. Bower received his BA from West Virginia Tech and his MA from Tennessee Tech.​ He retired from Education in 2018. He previously served as a Teacher, Coach, Assistant Principal, Principal, Director and Assistant Superintendent for the past 40 years. These areas were served in 6 different counties in West Virginia, including Logan, Boone, Cabell, Putnam, Lincoln, and Mason. Mr. Bower is involved in his church, Good Shepherd Baptist in Scott Depot, WV. He has been married to his wife Cheryl for 41 years. They have 3 sons and 6 grandchildren.
