Dana Womack is the Director of Architectural Services at the School Building Authority (SBA) of West Virginia. Since joining the SBA in 2013, Dana has overseen the design and construction of numerous K–12 school facilities across the state. Notable among these are New Franklin Elementary in Pendleton County and Lincoln Middle School in Harrison County—both of which were pioneering projects for the SBA as its first to implement the Design-Build delivery method.

A native of St. Albans, Dana is a graduate of St. Albans High School and holds an Associate of Applied Science degree from Marshall University. He began his service to the nation by enlisting in the United States Air Force, where he served four years at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma as a Security Police Officer.

Upon returning home, Dana entered the construction industry as a cement finisher and steadily advanced to the role of Project Manager. In 2009, he transitioned into the field of architecture, taking on the position of Construction Administrator at a private architectural firm in Charleston, West Virginia.

Beyond his professional achievements, Dana is deeply involved in his community. He has coached various youth sports programs and, in 2021, was appointed Head Boys Basketball Coach at St. Albans High School—his alma mater.
