Heather Brunton

Chief Financial Officer

Heather Brunton serves as the Chief Financial Officer of the School Building Authority.  Ms. Brunton began working for the Authority in April 2019 as the FEMA Team Lead.  Mrs. Brunton is from Lewis County and currently resides in Kanawha County. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and is a Certified Grants Management Specialist.  

Prior to coming to the Authority, she was the Financial Manager for the WV Commission for National and Community Service.  She has over 20 years of accounting experience, including seven years of experience in WV State Government with a focus in financial management, accounting and grants management.
